According to the statement, the initiative aims to establish a modern industrial data system to enhance planning efficiency and support informed decision-making.
During a coordination meeting, the two entities discussed mechanisms to strengthen statistical and field-level integration with the aim of developing a comprehensive, accurate, and regularly updated industrial database. The initiative seeks to provide a clear picture of the industrial sector’s current landscape, monitor key growth indicators, support informed decision-making, and enhance strategic planning for sustainable industrial development.
The database will serve as a reliable source of accurate and up-to-date information, supporting informed decision-making, assisting investors with valuable market insights, and facilitating the development of strategic studies and long-term plans. It is expected to play a key role in advancing sustainable economic development, strengthening the industrial sector, and enhancing the Emirate of Fujairah’s investment competitiveness, as per the reports.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration and streamlining data exchange in line with international statistical best practices to enhance the accuracy and quality of the industrial registry.
As per the statement, the participants highlighted that these efforts will improve the reliability of economic indicators, enable more effective policy and planning decisions, and support the Fujairah Government’s vision of fostering a more competitive business environment.
