(Web Desk) - A foreign aviation company is planning to start making lightweight aircraft in Pakistan, which is a big step forward for the country’s aviation industry.
This new development comes after a deal was made between a Pakistani company called Sky Wings Aviation and a German aviation company named Scilair Group.
Together, they will focus on building Gyrocopters, which are known for being versatile and efficient. Production is set to begin next year.
The very first Gyrocopter, which is being built in Germany, is expected to arrive in Pakistan by August. This event will mark the beginning of a new chapter in Pakistan’s aviation manufacturing sector.
These lightweight and flexible aircraft can be used for many different purposes. For example, they can be used as air ambulances to quickly transport patients, in agriculture to spray crops, and for surveillance, reconnaissance, and personal transportation.
In related news, the government of Punjab has signed a contract with Sky Wings Aviation to supply modern planes for its Air Ambulance Service.
This contract was awarded to Sky Wings Aviation after a successful bidding process. The company won the contract on April 1st, beating out two other interested companies.
