In four weeks, doors will open to an audience of military satellite communication experts in London as they convene at SMi Groups Global MilSatCom Conference & Exhibition on 7-9 November 2017.

This years event agenda has been curated to explore quintessential topics such as interoperability and national strategies to build robust satcom architecture, as well as significant timely topics that aim to answer questions and shed light to important issues such as:

• How close are we to fulfilling GovSatCom?
• What are the UK MoD’s next steps for Skynet 6?
• What are the implications and expected developments for Wideband AoA?
• How can ground segment innovations ensure effective and secure satcom?
• What are the latest and best technologies offered by leading solution providers?

The full roster of speakers and presentations can be found on www.globalmilsatcom.co.uk/defconPR.

This years programme is inarguably the best and most international in the events history, SMi MD Dale Butler said. Delegate numbers are up by 30% and the event is looking to attract around 500 attendees this year, which will be a new record for the conference series.

Featuring over 40 significant and topical presentations from over 50 leading commercial players and high-level military and government personnel, Global MilSatCom 2017 has attracted international experts shaping the milsatcom landscape and there are now only 15 spaces unaccounted for. With invites for exclusive networking sessions being sent out, those interested to attend are advised to register online as soon as possible.

Described as “the best networking event” by its audience, the conference will provide a platform for delegates to engage with military and industry leaders at dedicated networking sessions including drinks and dinner receptions and a cultural night hosted by Airbus, EutelSat, Lockheed Martin and SES.

Recent confirmed attendees and group bookings include: Lockheed Martin, European Defence Agency, Orbital ATK, Gilat Satellite Networks, Airbus, Telesat, Ministry of Defence Brazil, Boeing, Norwegian Armed Forces, Tesat Spacecom, RT Logic, Integrasys, Ministry of National Defence Poland, Qinetiq, NATO and more.
