It has recently come to light that Google is making changes in the Google Photos editing menu. The markup tool in Google Photos is making it easier for Android users to doodle on their photos. As per the reports, the feature now has a dedicated tab in the editing menu of Google Photos.

The feature was first spotted by 9to5Google and it allows users to draw or add text to an image while editing. The report states that it was back in 2020 when Google moved the “Markup” feature into a “More” tab. The feature was earlier located at the bottom of the screen in a bar that displays all the available tools in one view. Google states that the new markup tool is being rolled out now for Android users.

In other Google-related news, Google is constantly experimenting with new features. It has rolled out new features for ‘Enhanced Safe Browsing’ users on Chrome. The new features, starting with Chrome 91, will allow users to better choose their extensions and other additional security against downloading malicious files on the web.

Similarly, it was also recently reported that Google is adding two new features to its Messages app including support for pinned conversations and the ability to “star” particular messages. The two upcoming features have been spotted in a teardown of Google Messages 8.1.050.
