Mashable: Pixel Watch, which already includes built-in motion sensors and machine learning to identify the extent of a fall will offer emergency response options in the event that the user experiences a serious fall.
Google is finally releasing its Fall Detection feature for the Pixel Watch. Google claims that the Pixel Watch can differentiate between a severe fall and exercise, even intense exercise. According to the results of the rigorous testing, the wearable is able to ignore and rapidly recover from a minor stumble.

Updates to the Watch make it so that after a hard fall, it will prompt the user to take action within a set amount of time. After the user hasn't moved or responded to the Watch's alert for 30 seconds, it will start making noise and vibrating to see if they're all right. The wearer will be prompted to select an appropriate response from "I'm OK" to "I fell and need help" on the display screen. The local emergency services will send help if you choose the second option. These features are somewhat similar to what is available on Apple's Watch and Samsung's Galaxy Watches.
Even if you don't select anything, your watch will continue to alarm for one full minute at an increasing volume. If the user does not respond after hearing the automated message, the emergency services will be contacted at the location. If not, the person can talk to the emergency operator and update them on their condition.
Users of the Pixel Watch can turn on the feature by going to the "Updates" tab in the Watch Companion app or the "Personal Safety" app. There is also an option to "Help improve fall detection," which, when turned on, lets Google collect motion sensor data from falls that have already been identified so that the feature can be improved. Users have the option to disable fall detection at any moment.
