Dubai Internet City Is The Cornerstone Of UAE’s Tech Infra

Dubai Internet City (DIC) is the largest tech hub of the UAE. The hub provides a world class infrastructure and state of the art facilities for business partners and communities from around the world. With the establishment of superior data centres, Dubai Internet City has transformed Dubai into one of the world’s smartest cities.

Khazna, a leading Data Centre Service provider in the Middle east have enabled the DIC with advanced data centres. The company is the largest data centre infrastructure operator in the region. Khazna is installing new data centres in the internet city. The company announced its partnership in January 2022.

Digital Dubai

Dubai’s paperless strategy a-la Digital Dubai was inaugurated in 2020 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai Executive Council. The paperless strategy will save AED900 millions for the enterprising city. Going entirely paperless will also save around 40 hours annually in form-fillings that consumes a major chunk of time for visitors and local residents. DIC is also moving ahead with electronic archiving. Which means more reliance on Clouds.

Secure cloud infra is the need of the hour. The UAE’s Information Communication Technology (ICT) strategy is to set up secure data and cloud infrastructure in the smart city and across Dubai.

According to IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2021, Dubai is ranked amongst the top 10 competitive economies in the world.

The Dubai Internet City has some of the best infra to host world class events and gigs. The city’s Dubai Expo 2020 is a tell tale of the capabilities and business friendliness of the UAE.
