Huawei Connect 2020 global conference, which discussed "the paradigm shift in the field of digitization to create greater value" confirmed its belief in the importance of digital transformation, and to promote innovation in various fields and industries to create shared value for service providers and beneficiaries. In the press conference the company discussed many issues pertinent to the importance of adhering to a new paradigm in the industrial digital transformation sector, especially with the remarkable development of technologies during 2020. The importance of pushing forward the industrial digital transformation was also highlighted, and how to apply this transformation in the Egyptian market, and the most significant modern technologies used in this the field. In addition to focusing on the indispensability of attending to the customers’ demands and achieving the desired needs. The conference revolved around promoting innovation to reach the ideal model in the field of digitization to expand the circle of partnerships and business models, as well as enhancing the importance of synergies across five technical areas to create a digital ecosystem for mutual benefits while creating new value for industries.

Joy Kelly, Vice President of International Media Affairs at Huawei, said, “Artificial Intelligence is the new revolution in the information technology sector, which can be summarized in the “integration of the five Tech domains” which are connectivity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and applications, will achieve all-round and multi-layer connection of people, things, and information.” 

"These technologies enable data connectivity, integration of different scenarios, value interoperability, as well as breaking the traditional boundaries of industries, and realizing the finite possibilities of digitization.” Kelly added.

The Huawei Connect 2020 global conference addressed several topics, on top of which was "the latest technologies, industrial know-how and practices", which highlighted the tremendous digital transformation potentials. These potentials carry out close cooperation between five technical areas, where connectivity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and applications relevant to developing the surrounding fifth generation networks in unprecedented ways. The conference also introduced a new paradigm for digital transformation, as the digital ecosystem, which Huawei builds and shares its value, is deemed as critical to building a thriving and an auspicious digital future.

It is noteworthy that the Huawei Connect 2020 conference is an annual major event hosted by Huawei for the global communication and information technology industry. The conference was held this year in Shanghai from the 23rd to the 26th of September. The conference is considered to be an open platform designed to help Huawei’s customers and partners to stay in the loop of technological updates and changes, hence work on creating new values.
