Mashable: Apple will also debut a more affordable iPad alongside its new high-end versions.

Apple's new pro tablets are reportedly around the coener for launch. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that the next-generation iPad Pro, equipped with Apple's M2 chip, will be released in "a matter of days." As reported earlier, Apple will skip a full-scale event and instead opt for a traditional press release announcement for the new unveiling. As the first new model since last May, it is expected to be 20% faster than the current M1 model. In his newsletter, Gurman predicted that Apple would debut new Macs later this year and also produce an iPad dock with an integrated speaker in 2023.

Both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes will be available on the upcoming iPad Pro models. The M2 processors should improve the iPad Pro's productivity, and while the performance increase isn't massive, 20% is still substantial.

According to Gurman, Apple will also debut a more affordable iPad alongside its new high-end versions. According to rumors, it will utilize an A14 Bionic rather than an M-series processor, offer 5G compatibility, and use a USB-C connection rather than a Lightning port (to comply with forthcoming European regulations).

Apple may release a docking device for the iPad that includes a built-in speaker in the next year, which is exciting news in and of itself. Connecting an iPad to the gadget would give consumers a smart speaker and a home hub in one. It looks like the Pixel charging speaker dock that Google promised would be included with the Pixel Tablet when it goes on sale in the new year.

In addition to new iPads, Apple is expected to release 14-and 16-inch MacBook Pro models by the end of the year. They will use upgraded variants of the M2 processor, such as the M2 Pro and the M2 Max. There will also be an M2–powered Mac Mini in the near future.

Last but not least, Apple is developing a new Apple TV that will include a much-improved A14 CPU and 4GB of RAM compared to the present A12 model. Despite Gurman's track record of accuracy in this area, you should treat these reports with a grain of salt until Apple officially confirms them.
