ITP Media Group titles will only carry Year of Zayed banners on their digital portals for the first 24 hours of the New Year

ITP Media Group announced that it will only carry the official banners of the Year of Zayed across all its digital portals for the first 24 hours of 2018.

“We believe in upholding national occasions and recognizing the opportunities we have been given by our Founding Father and this country,” said ITP Media Group CEO Ali Akawi.

“This announcement is a small contribution towards many great initiatives, events and programmes taking place throughout 2018, in honour of the vision, leadership and wisdom of our late Father Zayed,” he added.

On August 6th – the anniversary of when Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan assumed the leadership of Abu Dhabi in 1966 – 2018 was declared the Year of Zayed by His Highness President Sheikh Khaifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to mark 100 years since Sheikh Zayed’s birth.

The year will see a number of events and celebrations to honour Sheikh Zayed’s vision and leadership, reflecting the foundations, traditions and values he instilled in the UAE and its people.
