Mashable: Kanye West is reportedly in the planning stages for the construction of a city in the Middle East.

Kanye West is once again making headlines with his audacious plans, this time unveiling his vision for a self-sustaining city in the Middle East named DROAM. Spanning a colossal 100,000 acres, twice the size of New York City, DROAM is Kanye's latest endeavor that has fans buzzing with excitement and skepticism.

Known for teasing fans with unreleased albums and unfulfilled promises, West's announcement comes against a backdrop of unfinished ventures and neglected properties. Despite promising a recent album drop with Ty Dolla $ign, fans were left disappointed when the project failed to materialize, sparking cautious speculation about a potential New Year's Eve release.

Surprisingly, West took to social media platform X to reveal his grand plans for DROAM's Phase 1 development, actively seeking collaborators, including project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and builders. However, amidst this grand announcement, reports surfaced about West's Los Angeles church, acquired for $1.5 million in March, now lying neglected with boarded-up windows and accumulating trash.

Images depicting boarded-up windows and accumulating trash at the church present a stark contrast to West's global aspirations. Adding to the saga, West recently listed his Malibu home for sale after abandoning renovation plans due to financial troubles. Stripped down and lacking windows or electricity, the property now carries a $53 million price tag, significantly lower than the $57.25 million he paid for it just two years ago.

While fans absorb the DROAM revelation, Kanye West's track record of unrealized projects and neglected properties raises doubts about the success of this ambitious venture.
