ZAWYA : Dubai, United Arab Emirates – At the beginning of the year, Lenovo introduced Lenovo & Motorola Qira: one personal AI that lives across compatible Lenovo and Motorola devices. During MWC in March, that vision turned into a reality when Lenovo announced the initial rollout of Lenovo & Motorola Qira to more than 20 Lenovo devices.

As showcased at Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026, Lenovo & Motorola Qira is taking the next step in that vision by:

- Expanding support to eligible PCs with 16GB of memory, broadening access beyond higher-memory configurations
- Expanding to eligible Motorola devices as they receive the Android 17 upgrade in the coming months, including select edge, signature and razr devices
- Becoming available on moto watch ultra, the first wearable to support Lenovo & Motorola Qira
- Expanding connected experiences through supported applications and services including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail, and Outlook Calendar through Lenovo’s new collaboration with Workato

In the past five months, Lenovo & Motorola Qira has shipped on millions of devices globally spanning select ThinkPad, Yoga, Legion and IdeaPad PCs, Lenovo tablets and motorola edge smartphones across six languages with more languages coming. Lenovo & Motorola Qira is expected to ship on more families of devices by the end of 2026 including the wearables category.

One Personal AI Across More Devices

Lenovo & Motorola Qira was built with the reality that people rarely spend their day on a single device. Work and life move from a PC to a phone. An idea captured on a tablet may continue somewhere else. Group chats still go off when users are working. A user may need information from a meeting when they’ve stepped away.

With Lenovo & Motorola Qira, users can keep their day going smoothly with prioritized notification summaries, cross-device knowledge, and acting through one main interface without needing to jump between apps and devices.

Support for eligible PCs with 16GB of memory broadens access beyond higher-memory configurations, while continued local model optimization strengthens the on-device AI foundation behind Lenovo & Motorola Qira. Eligible users can download Lenovo & Motorola Qira from the Lenovo website.

Additionally, Lenovo & Motorola Qira will expand to eligible Motorola devices as they receive the Android 17 upgrade. The rollout will take place gradually, with timing varying by device and market. On supported devices currently featuring moto ai, the Android 17 upgrade will introduce Motorola Qira, bringing Motorola users a new generation of AI.

Lenovo & Motorola Qira is also expanding across the device ecosystem including the moto watch ultra, the first wearable that Motorola Qira will be available on.  Users can raise their wrist or say "Hey Qira" to ask general questions or get information from Lenovo & Motorola Qira’s cross-device knowledge.

The idea is not to recreate the same AI interface on every screen. It is to let each device play the role it is best suited for while preserving a familiar, continuous personal AI experience.

Expanding Across Everyday Apps and Services

Lenovo & Motorola Qira is also expanding its ability to help users act on what they need. Through Lenovo’s new collaboration with Workato, Lenovo Qira can connect with supported applications and services (including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar) to help users complete actions through natural-language requests.

This creates a more direct path from asking to doing while keeping user permission and control at the center. If a user has a calendar event that changes or an important update in their email or group chat, they no longer need to dig through emails and messages to find out, and they no longer need to open a different app from the one they’re using. They can instead catch up through Lenovo & Motorola Qira’s Catch Me Up feature and take action from the Lenovo & Motorola Qira interface.

Since Lenovo & Motorola Qira’s release in March, users have shown a gravitation toward features that reduce the amount of information they need to process themselves. This includes Catch Me Up, which now creates faster summaries than before.

Lenovo & Motorola Qira is also partnering with Notion and expanding its Perplexity integration, so users can keep making progress in the things that matter to them like moodboards, documents, and research — without switching apps or devices.

Users can connect their Notion account to edit and pull up information from their projects, right from Lenovo & Motorola Qira. With the expanded Perplexity integration, users can do deep research and get visual references for their interests and goals.
