Netflix India has brought its customers holiday cheer as the prices of the subscription plans have dropped by a huge margin. Customers can save from 18% to 60% based on the plan. The Netflix Mobile plan now starts at Rs.199 per compared to Rs.149 which is dropped by 25%. However, the best plan is the Basic plan which starts at Rs. 199 per month compared to Rs. 499. This is the biggest save as customers can save up to 25%. Moving to other plans, the Standard plan is now available at Rs. 499 per month compared to Rs. 649 which is a 23% save.
Even the Netflix premium went from Rs. 799 per month to Rs. 649. The rate card of all the plans has been dropped by a huge margin, whereas the Mobile plan gets a new slot at Rs. 149.
It is also applicable to the existing Netflix account holders who can upgrade to the latest plan from today. Customers will receive a notification as soon as they log in, where it asks to confirm the upgrade or change the plan. However, the features will remain the same as the Mobile plan comes with the standard resolution (SD) of 480p content on tablets and mobile phones.
Similarly, the basic plan allows the users to stream Netflix on TV at the same 480p standard resolution. The Standard plan offers a higher resolution of 1080p while the Premium plan comes with 4K resolution as well as a high dynamic range (HDR). Moreover, the device limit will also remain the same as the features.
