With New Year’s Eve right around the corner, many people have already made plans. However, there are some who are thinking of spending the holiday in their cities. If you happen to be in Dubai this time and wondering where to celebrate, here is a list of a few places that can save the day!

1. Atlantis

The hotel features Kylie Minogue’s performance at a gala, a grandiose buffet with caviar, lobster and unlimited beverages, ice sculpture,s and over 65 handcrafted desserts, which can make your New Year’s Eve quite exciting. Those with children can send their little ones to Asateer Tent, which houses bouncy castles, outdoor cinemas and games stalls. The dinner costs Dh5,900 for people above the age of 14.

As for adults, rouge circle attendees will have to pay Dh6,900, while golden circle attendees will have to pay Dh8,500.

2. Five Guys, Dubai Mall
One can catch the serene view of Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa’s fireworks here. The seats are available for Dh1,850 for the fountain promenade and Dh1,500 for the terrace, and it will include burgers, drinks and a prime spot for the NYE celebration view.

3. BB Social, DIFC
To take it a notch further, BB Social will decorate each floor with a theme from every decade. For instance, the ground floor will have a 90’s theme, but as they move up, they will see the 80’s and 70’s settings. It costs Dh750 for the dinner, with the after party lasting from 9 pm to 3 am. But if you attend only the after party, then it will cost Dh350 after midnight.

4. Motiongate

Children will have here their 3-day New Year’s Eve party from December 29 to 31 between 5 to 7 pm. Some of the activities include a meet and greet with Alex the lion, King Julien’s Holiday Stomp, a musical parade, festive markets and more.

There is also a showcase of fireworks across Dubai Parks and Resorts on December 31, at 7 pm as well as 9 pm. Dh330 is the price for a one-day pass.

5. Meshico, Pointe
The Mexican restaurant has the perfect view to watch the fireworks! Indoor seats are available at Dh800, while terrace seating at the front will cost Dh1500 for an individual. Free shuttle buses are available from Nakheel Mall to the waterfront destination, running from 8 pm to 3 am, while the Palm Monorail will work from 9 am to 2 am.

6. Zam Zam Mandi, Jumeirah 1
At Jumeirah road, you can watch fireworks and have a grand meal at Zam Zam mandi. The price is Dh1,000 for 10 people, and the eatery will include unlimited food and appetisers. The offer is available from 7 pm until after midnight.

7. February 30, Palm West Beach

One can reserve a table facing the beach at the restaurant while enjoying drinks, live music and panoramic views from 9 pm to 2 am. It is priced at Dh1,500 per person and incorporates Dh350 set-sharing menu for four.

One’s New Year’s Eve can get much better when on a yacht at Dubai Marina. Guests can book a D3 yacht at Dh15,000 and Dh20,000. The ship can carry 15 people and will include a free, live BBQ.
