Oath's UK managing director Nigel Clarkson has left the company following an internal investigation prompted by “complaints and allegations” from employees.
A statement from the Verizon Wireless-owned media giant confirmed that “Clarkson’s employment has been terminated” following the conclusion of an internal inquiry “into alleged breaches of our standards of business conduct and our Oath values.”
The statement goes on to read: “Oath is a values led company and we take all complaints and allegations from our employees extremely seriously and we move fast to act on them.”
No more details surrounding his exit have emerged publicly at present.
Clarkson joined Yahoo as its UK managing director in November 2015 prior to its takeover by Verizon Wireless and subsequent merger with AOL resulting in the newly-formed outfit Oath.
