Prince Harry attended the 2024 Concordia Annual Summit in New York on September 23. Several photos of the Duke of Sussex from the event have surfaced online. At the event, he talked about the Diana Award, named in memory of his late mother Princess Diana.

During his conversation with Dr Tessy Ojo, Harry was also joined by two former Diana Award winners Christina Williams and Chiara Riyanti Hutapea Zhang. Harry spoke about Princess Diana's impact and praised Tessy's team.

The Duke of Sussex said, "I know that my mom would be incredibly proud of you guys, not just you but all of the award winners, and Tessy. You've been in this for a very long time. So thank you for that as well. But the way that you do it, your activism, your compassion, those two things are so close to how my mum led her life and what she believed in."

Prince Harry shared a close bond with his mother Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997. Time and again, the Duke of Sussex keeps remembering his late mother.

Recently, a royal source told The Mirror US why it is so important for the Duke of Sussex to carry forward his late mother's legacy. "It's the one thing that keeps her memory alive for him. He sees himself in his mother so much, they are almost like spirit twins in their nature and their approach to things," revealed the source. It further mentioned that Prince Harry is devoted to talking about the good his late mother did and supporting charities to continue the work she was so passionate about.

On the other hand, Prince Harry is not on good terms with his brother Prince William, and father King Charles III. Though the royal family members wished Harry on his 40th birthday via social media, they are yet to be seen interacting with him publicly. Rumours of their rift began after Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to the US. Post that, Meghan and Harry's joint interview and Netflix documentary also reportedly damaged their relationship.
