Doha: Qatari Arabic newspaper Al-Sharq editor-in-chief Jaber Salim Al-Harmi has resigned from his post, citing 'personal reasons'.
He tendered his letter of resignation to Dar Al-Sharq board chairman Shaikh Thani bin Abdulla Al-Thani.
Al-Harmi was first appointed as deputy editor-in-chief twelve years ago before assuming the post of editor-in-chief in 2008.
