This new incarnation of Instagram is trying to bring everything from the competition to the user's table. Earlier this week, Instagram announced that it will be adding new capabilities to its Reels tool, primarily aimed at content creators who use it.
To add additional flavor to their Reels, creators now have access to an expanded selection of sound effects. Additionally, creators will be able to use Reels to directly import their audio. The "Import Audio" switch can be used to access the capability.
Reels will import the audio from an existing video clip that is at least five seconds long from the user's camera roll. Even if you post the same music to Reels, others can use it for their own purposes.
Instagram formerly supported interactive stickers inside its Stories. Reels will now have access to this functionality. Moreover, you'll be able to create polls and interactive quizzes for your audience to participate in, allowing them to vote on what they want to see next. Reels will, of course, include the emoji slider sticker, allowing viewers to rate material using emojis.
Instagram is expanding the duration of Reels from 60 seconds to 90 seconds, while TikTok increased the length of its movies from 3 minutes to 10 minutes. Templates, the final and most useful addition to the new version, are a huge time saver.
This will make it easier for content creators to sync snippets with music and video. It will be preloaded with placeholders that the makers may fill in to build their next masterpiece.
