Hidden yet powerful, anonymous yet talented –that’s what Banksy’s art is known for. Banksy without a doubt has been the world’s most famous and celebrated graffiti artist.

Also known as the world’s most notorious and ‘anonymous’ street artist, his works of art are known to be poignant, thought-provoking, ironic and humorous and to some, it is just plain vandalism. But whatever the case may be, there can be no doubt that he is a very talented and clever artist and conveys his views in a way that many of us aren’t able to do.

While his art remains one of the most famous artworks of the world, Emiratis can now get a glimpse of his work as his exhibition –The World of Banksy comes to the town. Taking place at the Mall of Emiratis, the art show will be on till June 30, 2021.

 
At the exhibition, art enthusiasts can get a glimpse of some of his prominent work with 120 recreated pieces of his internationally renowned street art’s most inspirational works.

As the artist has always chosen to remain anonymous, little is being known about this exhibition, however, the show will offer some insight into his work, influences and inspiration, allowing art fanatics of the region to get up, close and personal with his work.

Banksy’s is known for using stencils and props to create his social propaganda by turning the spotlight back on poignant issues, his art speaks volumes, giving food for thought. At the show, his art will showcase some of Banksy’s most iconic frames and paintings such as Girl with a Balloon, Flower Thrower, and Mobile Lovers – to name a few.

With a huge space of Mall of Emirates, the exhibition will enable visitors to explore a series of work across rooms at –The Theatre on level two. The show will be running between noon and midnight whilst keeping all the safety precautions in place.
