Your smartphone and your wallet have a lot in common and when used together they can not only save you money but help you earn some too! Take a look at these six apps.
Task Spotting: A Dubai-based tech smartphone app, pays people in exchange for their feedback. The idea is simple; users accept and complete missions at the places they go to every day, including malls, retailers and restaurants, in exchange for cash rewards. These missions, which could range from mystery shopping to retail audits, typically only take a few minutes and can earn anywhere from $3 (AED10) to $20 (AED75). Users then have the option to send the rewards to their PayPal account or donate to a local charity.
Groupon: Though you won’t technically be making money with this app, you can save a lot. The global e-commerce marketplace connects millions of subscribers with local merchants by offering activities, travel, goods and services in more than 28 countries. After certain purchases, you may be entitled to receive up to 50 per cent promotion discount codes on your next bargain.
The Entertainer: The digital savings app allows customers to redeem thousands of buy-one-get-one-free vouchers using smartphones on offers for restaurants, leisure attractions, spas, hotel accommodation and more. The application also includes special promotions. You can even view how much you have saved with the Entertainer app and share it with family and friends via social media.
Swagbucks: The app lets you earn ‘SB’ points for shopping, answering surveys, searching, exploring, discovering what's online and inviting Friends. 15 million members have already redeemed their SB for more than $100 million in free gift cards. You can redeem your SB for $5 to $100 gift cards for Amazon, PayPal and Starbucks.
Instant rewards: The app is a loyalty program in which advertisers pay you to allow them to market their product to you directly. The more video offers, check-in locations and surveys you complete, the more you earn. The app pays directly to your PayPal Account or in Starbucks or Amazon gift cards. To complete some surveys, info such as income, gender and location will need to be provided. Users can earn more than $10 a day.
OpinionAPP: Share your opinion and get rewards for each survey you take. OpinionAPP gives you the choice of all the available surveys to take. The app currently services more than 15,000 panels in 65 countries and in 34 languages.
