FP7 has promoted Olly Robinson to Executive Creative Director at FP7 Dubai. Mr Robinson’s work at FP7 over the past three years has helped steer the agency to the position of the ‘World’s Most Effective Agency’ in 2016 (Global Effie’s), as well as helping FP7 retain The MENA Effie’s Most Effective Agency and Network 2015, 2016 and 2017.

As ECD, Mr Robinson will continue to build FP7’s creative reputation and will also oversee the development of new initiatives within the creative department across the network.

“It is my extreme pleasure to announce Olly as our Executive Creative Director. He has been indispensable to the agency’s success story over the last three years, and his track record of churning out award winning ideas has been impressive. Olly embodies FP7’s core values and our commitment to producing daring creativity that is commercially successful,” said Jon Marchant, MD, FP7 Dubai.

“I am stoked to be named as FP7’s ECD. In FP7’s 50th year the agency is still going from strength to strength, we’re winning new business and doing effective, award-winning work for our clients. My role is to keep that momentum going, hire great talent and do work that makes us and our clients famous,” added Mr Robinson.

About Olly Robinson:

In June 2015, after 22 years working in London at ATL and Digital agencies such as D’ARCY, JWT London, BMP DDB Needham, Agency.com and Campaign’s Digital Agency of Decade - Dare Digital, Oliver decided to swap the English rain for the Arabian sun and take the Senior Creative Director role at FP7, part of the McCann WorldGroup. In 2018 he was promoted to Executive Creative Director, in this role he oversees a creative department of over 30 talented individuals from all over the world, all the pitches - currently holding a 91% pitch win rate - hiring and training. He is also the President of MENA McCann Creative Leadership Council - which involves working with all the local offices to make the creative output from this region stronger. This oversight across the region is already paying dividends as the FP7 network finished 2nd overall in Lynx 2018 - the fist time we've been so high in the rankings as a network. We picked up 30 Lynx's; 1 Grand Prix, 7 Golds, 8 Silver and 14 bronzes and FP7 Dubai accrued the largest tally of points within the network with 36. Recently we've also picked up numerous gold, silver and bronze Lions, LIA’s and retained Agency and Network of the Year 5 years running at the MENA Effies.
