Samsung may be working on a laptop that folds twice, according to a recently revealed patent. LetsGoDigital was the first to notice the diagrams, and it includes a flexible screen for added versatility.

According to them, Samsung submitted a patent for a "foldable electronic gadget" with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in July 2021. On January 13, 2022, the documents were accepted and published. At first appearance, the concept appears to be a normal laptop with a vertically folding lid. The screen, on the other hand, is flexible, with a perpendicular crease running across the panel, indicating where the crease is.

It appears that the laptop's lower, metal half is similarly foldable, with hinges connecting the two pieces. So, in theory, the laptop folds once horizontally and then once vertically, just like a piece of paper. A clip that slips out from behind the laptop and attaches onto the gadget after it's folded was also provided. This eliminates the possibility of unintended opening. The spacebar breaks in two when the trackpad travels to the right, according to the schematics.

Internally, the processor is located on the far left, with two batteries on either side powering the remainder of the laptop. When the laptop is folded, users have access to the audio player buttons, enabling one-handed music listening.
