Arab News: RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has teamed up with the UK’s National Archives to launch a fellowship scheme aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two countries in the field of research.
The Saudi Ministry of Culture launched the UK-KSA Arabian Peninsula Cultural Research Fellowships, which will include a 10-week residency at the National Archives, where participants will receive hands-on training in archival methods and gain access to a wide range of collections and cultural institutions across the UK.
The scheme, which is also partnered by Effat University in Jeddah, supports diverse areas of cultural research related to the Arabian Peninsula.
The initiative aligns with the ministry’s strategic vision for advancing research and reflects its commitment to fostering both local and international collaboration and promoting meaningful cultural exchange.
The fellowship is open to anyone capable of conducting independent research in English, regardless of their professional level.
The application deadline is May 11.
