The Saudi Adventure Sports Federation celebrated the graduation of the first batch of women who passed the skydiving course.

In another firsts for Saudi Arabia, an all-female team of skydivers graduate to become professional sky divers in the region. The Saudi Adventure Sports Federation celebrated the graduation of the first batch of women who passed the skydiving course.

Three skydivers from Saudi— Alaa Dhafer, Maram Al-Eid, and Razan Al-Ghufaili took to the sky and made their official debut as the Saudi Arabian Extreme Sports Federation’s first all-female team of skydivers.

The trio triumphed on the day that coincided with the 91st Saudi National Day.

The three women participated in the parachute jump from a Black Hawk helicopter at 12,000 feet. They were granted the American Parachute Organisation’s license, which is one of the highest and most approved licenses in this field.

The trio took part in the third skydiving camp of the Saudi Adventure Sports Federation, which was organised in King Abdullah Economic City from September 17 to 25, with the participation of Black Hawk, National Guard.

A total of 40 Saudi parachute jumpers from members of the Saudi Adventure Sports Federation participated in the camp. In addition to the participation of people of determination in free parachute jumping after receiving adequate training from specialists in the federation, experienced participants from sports backgrounds varied from several military authorities and parachute jump professionals from the civil sector also participated.

The third camp of the Saudi Federation for Adventure Sports was organised with the aim to refine the skills of Saudi jumpers, licensing players and coaches with approved international licenses.

The camp also two exceptional events that took place during the camp—the National Day celebrations and the inauguration of the first Saudi women’s skydiving team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
