Arab News: RIYADH: The Federation of Saudi Chambers has announced the launch of the “Logistics Challenges Observatory,” aimed at monitoring operational and economic challenges across sectors, as well as enhancing supply chain efficiency and stability in the Kingdom.
The observatory aims to measure the level of efficiency and stability in supply chains, support an accurate representation of the private sector’s voice, and translate data into actionable insights to support economic policymaking and improve performance efficiency.
It also provides an advanced digital platform that enables the design of specialized surveys and the systematic, reliable collection and analysis of private sector insights. This contributes to the production of accurate indicators that support decision-making.
The new observatory also covers the analysis of operational challenges in vital sectors, particularly food and pharmaceuticals, including shipment delays, rising costs, and reliance on specific suppliers, in addition to anticipating future risks related to imports and logistics routes.
It also monitors challenges regularly and converts them into analytical reports that support the development of practical solutions, enhance sector efficiency, and improve preparedness and responsiveness to economic changes.
The Federation of Saudi Chambers has invited all investors and establishments to participate in the observatory and submit their challenges and proposals.
The Federation emphasized that this initiative represents a significant step toward building an integrated data system that supports decision-makers with accurate and reliable information and contributes to strengthening the sustainability of supply chains, as well as supporting food and pharmaceutical security in the Kingdom.
