Saudi National Day 2024 is just around the corner. Several fireworks displays will light up the skies of UAE in celebration of the KSA founding day which marks the unification of Hijaz (the West Coast area of the kingdom) and Najd (the central region). The historic moment took place in 1932 under the leadership of KSA’s first ruler King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, leading to the birth of Saudi Arabia that we know today. The nation was named after the House of Saud which remains the ruling royal family of the country.

The Saudi National Day falls on September 23 every year and the occasion is celebrated with great zeal across the Kingdom with events, traditional activities, decorations, and Saudi flags taking up every nook and corner of the nation. Like every year, the Middle East will not fail to witness the zeal of the KSA founding day in 2024. Saudi National Day fireworks display will be hosted on Sunday, September 22 at 21:00 at Riverland Dubai, within the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex. The night sky will light up with the colours of the Saudi flag.

Jeddah

Jeddah promenade will host fireworks at 9 pm but there will also be displays at various locations in the Red Sea city.

An array of fireworks displays will hit the town at various locations, including at Umm Ajlan Park between 5:30 pm to 5.37 pm on Sunday, September 22, and Riyadh Boulevard.

The special day is considered a holiday for both the public and the private sectors. Hence, this year, all residents will enjoy a four-day long weekend.
