The program takes place in the heritage venue Bait Obaid Al Shamsi in Arts Square, on Friday and Saturday evenings in February.
The series of workshops include—Painting to Music where you can explore patterns through rhythm and tempo and express emotions through the strokes of your paintbrushes, Sama-sama (Together), which will use sewing techniques to create a map of your homes and origins. Explore how everyday objects can be used to create sound with Sound Sculptures and experiment and create a collaborative collage with Temporary Place.
Participants can use everyday objects to create music, make collages, try capoeira, learn traditional Palestinian embroidery techniques, express their emotions by painting to music, and much more.
Additionally, there will be a special music performance that will take place on February 12 featuring live African drum group—Drumtainment that uses traditional hand drums and dynamic movement to create a thrilling experience for audiences.
