Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, surprised fans by sharing photos of a personal meeting with Elon Musk in Dubai, where the Crown Prince was seen hosting and driving the tech mogul through the city. In the posts shared on his Instagram, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the wide-ranging conversation with Musk, which explored topics from space exploration and advanced technologies to the role of innovation in shaping humanity's future.

Other images capture the Crown Prince shaking hands with Musk and driving him around Dubai.

Both were also papped from behind while walking into a majlis, holding the hands of their sons. In a separate post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Sheikh Hamdan shared more details about their meeting. "During the meeting, we affirmed our pride in the partnerships that unite the United Arab Emirates with global economic leaders and change-makers, based on our belief that collaboration is the true engine of progress, and that the next stage requires an integrated partnership between public and private sectors," he wrote.
