Mashable: Snapchat+ members in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can now access the new feature.
Snapchat is making its way to the PC. There are plans to make Snapchat available on the web so that users may send snaps from their computers instead of only their smartphones.
Snapchat+ members in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can now access the new feature. Initially, it will be available in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), then France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). However, there is no official word on when it will go live in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
To use Snapchat on the web, go to web.snapchat.com and sign in using your Snapchat account. They'll be able to pick up where they left off right away. Several Lenses will be made available on the desktop in the next weeks while trying to send photographs through the website.
Snapchat for Web has integrated two-step verification from the smartphone app in terms of privacy and security. As soon as the user switches to another tab, window, or task while using a PC, the current chat will be obscured.
As of right now, Snapchat for Web is only available on Chrome, which means it will function on both a Mac and a PC.
Hussein Freijeh, general manager of Snap in the Middle East and North Africa, said the firm is striving to expand its augmented reality position and generate revenue streams for developers and artists in an interview with The National earlier this month.
“To help augmented reality developers create and monetize experiences, we're concentrating on this group." according to Freijeh. He says "we're bringing in Saudi Arabian talent to help us better understand the culture and introduce the subtleties across the board.". Snapchat's GCC community is one of the most engaged in the world, with a large community of artists and prospective advertising partnerships that might help boost income. "
