The Emirati vision to carve out a place in the universe of space exploration, recently propelled its first ever Mars mission towards success which was witnessed by the world. Elevated by the achievement, the Emirates has raised the stakes by assembling a robotic rover, which it will send to the moon, while it prepares to launch its second homegrown satellite as well.

When it comes to the grassroots level, schools and institutes in the UAE are also allowing students to study the cosmos via augmented reality, and get closer to Mars with VR tech. Considering the enthusiasm about space displayed by residents and tourists, Dubai Astronomy Group has opened a window for people to get a clearer view of planets situated far away in the galaxy.

Visitors will be able to witness the spectacular scenes at a particular time, from the highest vantage point of Dubai's breathtaking icon the Palm Jumeirah. Jupiter and Saturn will be among planets which will be visible to Emiratis and space geeks traveling to the smart city.

Telescopes installed at the 360 degree observation deck are designed to bring out details of the colossal planet and its neighbour with spellbinding rings. In the connected age, content creators and tech-savvy residents will be able to share the experience by capturing Jupiter and Saturn in their smartphone cameras.

Both planets shine the brightest every year between August 2 and August 20, when earth is between the sun and these planets, which is why the Dubai-based group is inviting enthusiasts to capture the visuals. Apart from that astronomy sessions will also be held for those seeking further knowledge about space exploration.

For months after the Hope Probe's entry into the Martian orbit was witnessed live by the world like an edge of the seat thriller, the vehicle has been sending detailed images of the Red planet. On the other hand, UAE's Falcon Eye 2 and satellites launched before that are proving instrumental in getting accurate visuals of the country's borders along with images for disaster management.
