Enthusiasts of film direction, music, and game development, Dubai has something amazing to offer as the market for creatives in Dubai is set to double in the next five years according to HH Sheikh Mohammad.

Dubai has always headed towards being a cosmopolitan city offering various courses that are in tandem with the evolving world. Now, the number of creative firms is on the rise, boosting the creative sector.

“We aim to increase the number of creative firms from 8,000 to 15,000 in Dubai and creative professionals from 70,000 to 150,000 within the next 5 years,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.

Earlier this year too, a program that would make Dubai the ‘global capital of the creative economy’ was launched by Sheikh Mohammed.

The gaming industry too is on the rise and Dubai has been paying special attention to that as well. The gaming industry is set to expand in the Middle East in the coming times, with an audience of 100 million generating revenue of $4.4 billion by 2022.

Even Abu Dhabi has joined the creative gold rush by spending AED30 billion on culture and the creative industries in the emirate.

SAE Institute in Dubai is one of the places that is offering courses catering to these fields. Courses in Audio and Sound Production, 3D Animation, Graphic Design, and Visual Communication, Filmmaking, Game Development among others are some of them provided by SAE. The Institution also spans the globe with 47 campuses in 23 countries.
