The most-awaited event in the Middle East is just a month away and the excitement has peaked to its level. As the country begins to welcome the world for the mega-event, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Wednesday confirmed the country’s readiness to welcome the world to Expo 2020 Dubai.

“We are ready to welcome the world and herald a new era of international collaboration,” the ruler of Dubai said as he visited the Expo 2020 Dubai site, one month before the doors open to the world’s largest cultural event.

“We look forward to receiving delegations from 191 countries as well as businesses, multilateral organisations, and educational institutions, who will join in the making of a better tomorrow for humanity,” said Sheikh Mohammed.

After the yearlong postponing of the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Expo 2020 Dubai is all set to welcome the world with a mind-boggling line of events, exhibitions, conferences, and culinary experiences.

Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied on the site visit by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, Chairman of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee.

He was briefed on the measures being taken to ensure the success of the Expo, which will be one of the biggest events welcoming international visitors to happen since the pandemic began.

Sheikh Mohammed visited the Expo 2020 Water Feature, which has its very own musical score, and a Garden in the Sky observation tower. He also visited Al Wasl Plaza and the Expo 2020 Leadership Pavilion, as well as Al Forsan Park.

Under the theme ‘Connecting Minds and Creating the Future’ through three sub-themes of sustainability, mobility, and opportunity, Expo 2020 Dubai, that will run from October 1 to March 31. The event will see will be 60 plus daily shows, 191 country pavilions, and 200 plus restaurants for the visitors to enjoy.
