The Riyadh Season festival in Saudi Arabia’s capital city has been awarded another Guinness World Record title.

Yet again, Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season has bagged Guinness World Records, and this season, the program bagged the record for the most simultaneous holograms, also known as pepper’s ghost illusions.

But it was not just one, but four unprecedented records bagged by the season that kicked off four months ago, through a variety of entertainment activities such as games, exhibitions, and concerts.

The first Guinness World Record was achieved during a Mohammed Abdu concert that was held on January 14, where 100 songs were recorded using hologram technology. Five holographic versions of the Saudi singer appeared on stage before the real performer was revealed.

Another record was held at the Riyadh Motor Show for displaying the largest Formula One car made out of Lego bricks. The piece was originally built in Jeddah to coincide with the Formula One event in the city in September and was constructed out of 500,000 Lego pieces over a week.

Another two records were won in the field of games with a giant slide in Riyadh City Boulevard as the longest in the world. This was in addition to being the owner of the highest number of tracks of its kind in the field of games. The highest point of the giant slide stands at 22,136 metres, and its length is estimated at 117 metres, with 56.5 metres in width, while the number of its tracks is 24.
