Soccer’s UEFA Champions League is coming to Facebook Live in the U.S. for its 2017-18 season.

The social network is teaming up with Fox Sports to livestream two matches per match day in the tournament’s group stage, as well as four matches apiece from the Round of 16 and quarterfinals. The action kicks off in September.

The matches will be livestreamed in English on the Fox Sports Facebook page and in Spanish on the page for Fox Deportes.

Facebook said in an email to Social Pro Daily that 34 million users generated 98 million interactions related to the 2017 UEFA Champions League final.

Facebook head of global sports partnerships Dan Reed said in a release announcing the livestreaming pact:

The UEFA Champions League is one of the biggest football tournaments in the world, so we’re thrilled to partner with Fox Sports to deliver live matches to fans on Facebook in the U.S. next season. This collaboration unlocks new distribution for Fox, giving the network a national platform for matches that won’t always be televised. And with different matches broadcast in English and Spanish on Facebook, our community of fans will have plenty of action to cheer on and chat about once the group stage kicks off in September.

Fox Sports head of business operations David Nathanson added:

Facebook is a social media powerhouse and a great partner to help us grow soccer in the U.S. As people spend more and more time on mobile devices and social networks, offering matches on this platform is a natural extension. This year’s UEFA Champions League final saw 34 million people have 98 million interactions on Facebook, so we are thrilled to be able to offer top-notch content to their immense soccer community.
