Dreams are meant to be achieved, and Fatima Abdulrahman Al Awadhi did it! At just 17 years old, Emirati mountaineer Fatima created history by summiting Mount Vinson, the highest peak in Antarctica, becoming the youngest and first Arab to do so. Standing at 4,892 meters, this climb marks her third summit on her journey to conquer the seven summits.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Fatima wrote in the caption, "I couldn't be prouder to share that yesterday I summited Mount Vision, Antarctica's highest mountain, at 18, becoming the first Arab teen and the youngest Arab to reach its summit. I couldn't be grateful ...for @palmssportsuae's support in climbing my third seven summit, part of my mission to climb the highest peak on each continent. Thank you @myfinancehouse for supporting my climb and for being part of our second summit together."
