The United Arab Emirates rings in the UAE Flag Day celebrations today.

On November 3, 2023, the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi led the celebrations of the UAE Flag Day, which was launched by the Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the year 2013.

The UAE Flag Day marks the beginning of several national occasions in the Emirates, leading up to the nation’s Independence Day and is celebrated every November 3rd. The day celebrates the accession of the late Sheikh Khalifa as the UAE President in the year 2004.

This year, the huge celebrations marking the national occasion, the UAE Flag Day took place on Friday at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi.

Several other Emirati leaders came together on Friday to mark the occasion as President Sheikh Mohamed and Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi proudly raised the national flag at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi.

Several images and videos from the event were shared by the UAE President, Vice President, the President’s son Sheikh Khaled, the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan, and other leaders.
