A Dubai-based woman reportedly carried 10 kilograms of tomatoes to India at her mother’s request.

A Twitter user in India is going viral for revealing a very unusual request that her mom had for her Dubai-based sister.

As the price of Tomatoes has reached alarming heights in India, a mother asked her daughter to bring tomatoes from Dubai.

Money Control reported that a Dubai-based woman asked her Indian mother what gift she wanted from the United Arab Emirates city and her mother made a very odd request and asked her to bring tomatoes.

Usually, people desire to get luxury gifts from Dubai, but the skyrocketing price of tomatoes allegedly made an Indian mother ask her daughter to bring 10 kg of Tomatoes from Dubai.

On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, a Twitter user revealed her Dubai-based sister packed 10 kilograms of tomatoes as a gift to their mother in India.

The Twitter user shared that her sister is coming to India from Dubai for her “children's summer holidays” when she asked their mother if she wanted anything from Dubai. Revealing her mom’s very unusual request, she added that their mother asked her to “bring 10 kilos of tomatoes.”

The Twitter user added that “she has packed” 10 kilograms of tomatoes “in a suitcase and sent it.”

However, in a follow-up, Tweet, the sister revealed that tomatoes were packed in “big pearlpet” jars which were then put in “a suitcase” and sent to India.

The Tweet has gone viral on the internet, with many asking how the Dubai-based woman managed to send such a humongous amount of Tomatoes to India.
