Khaleej Times: Sheikh Mohamed stressed that the country remains steadfast in elevating education as a central pillar of its progress
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening its education system, describing it as the cornerstone of the nation’s development strategy.
In a message posted on social media platform X to mark 'Emirati Day for Education', the President stressed that the UAE remains steadfast in elevating education as a central pillar of its progress.
"On the 'Emirati Day for Education' we affirm that the UAE is steadfast on the path of elevating education, considering it the foundation of its developmental approach, which centers on the human being—empowered by his knowledge, awareness, and skills—to actively contribute to our developmental journey," Sheikh Mohamed wrote.
He also announced the launch of the 'National Covenant for Education,' which he signed along with fellow rulers on the occasion. The covenant will "serve as national reference aimed at entrenching national identity, building future skills, and enhancing integration between the family, school, and society".
Sheikh Mohamed said the goal is to ensure a stable, flexible, and sustainable education system that delivers high-quality outcomes aligned with the country’s ambitions for the future.
This ensures the sustainability, stability, and flexibility of the educational process, achieving its goals in high-quality outcomes that serve our aspirations, ambitions, and vision for the future."
