Mashable: Multiple weather warnings have been issued across the UAE as the country braces for unstable weather conditions. Authorities predict heavy rainfall, strong winds, dust storms, and rough seas across various regions until October 14, 2025. Several parts of the country have already experienced heavy rain. Residents in Dubai commuting home after work on Sheikh Zayed Road experienced the rainy weather.
Early morning showers of varying intensity were recorded in mountainous regions, including Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, as well as Sharjah and Fujairah. Stay away from valleys, open areas, & avoid being outdoors during thunderstorms. For the uninitiated, entering valleys during water flow carries a fine of Dh2,000, 23 black points, and vehicle impoundment for 60 days under Ministerial Resolution No. 227 of 2023. The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) is closely monitoring the changing weather conditions in coordination wth the NCM, Ministry of Interior, and other partners.
