The UAE is brimming with merriments as the region celebrates the Year of the 50th. The big year for the emirates calls for big celebrations and the region is already in congratulatory mode with mega-events taking place, including the Expo 2020 Dubai.

As the country takes over various events to commemorate the celebrations of the Year of the 50th, another event to grace the occasion is the race of beautiful vintage supercars – the Mille Miglia, taking place in Abu Dhabi, the UAE Capital.

The race, which is an invite-only event will see 100 owners of landmark automobiles, from legendary classics to iconic supercars of the modern era come under one roof. These vintage cars from around the globe will come all the way to Dubai to join the UAE’s highly anticipated 50th-year celebrations in December.

The ‘most beautiful race in the world’ will be added to the line-up as the country will host the inaugural 1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2021 that will take place from December 5 to 9, 2021.

While various vintage car enthusiasts might want to peek into the occasion, the event is an invite-only where fifty participants from around the world will take part with the other 50 competitors coming from the Arabian Peninsula who will compete across three different classes — 1000 Miglia Era Class, the post-1000 Miglia Era Class and the Supercar 1000 Miglia Travelling Collection Class.

Talking about the event, Alia Al Hammadi, Deputy Chairwoman of the UAE Government Media Office, during the launch held at the House of Wisdom in Sharjah shared, “At the backdrop of the most beautiful race in the world — the Mille Miglia — the UAE provides an unforgettable experience. We are delighted to be working together with Octanium and Mille Miglia and show the world that the impossible is possible.”
