WhatsApp Is Working On A New Feature That Allows Group Admins To Delete Chats For Everyone

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that would allow group directors to remove messages for other members of the group as well.

This year, Meta (formerly Facebook)-owned the instant messaging service WhatsApp which is said to be working on a slew of new features targeted at improving consumers' experiences.

According to a source, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that would allow group directors to remove messages for other members of the group as well. This gives group admins the ability to remove anyone's message without asking them if the admin doesn't want the members to view it.

As per the most recent rumor from WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo, Android users will soon get the ability to delete multiple messages in a group.

"In a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android, if you're a group admin, you'll be able to remove any message for everyone in your teams," WABetaInfo said in a tweet.

 

The WhatsApp tracker also included a screenshot with the tweet, demonstrating how an Android user will see a message erased by a group admin.

Besides, WhatsApp is also said to be working on various features, including the ability to reply to messages with just an emoji, similar to Twitter and Instagram, and the Meta-owned instant messaging app is also said to be bringing in-app chat help, which will let's customers to contact WhatsApp customer support from within the app itself.

WhatsApp has begun rolling out the ability for iOS users to pause voice notes while recording and listen to them before transmitting.

The instant messaging software is also said to be adding the ability for new iPhone users to move their talks from Android to iPhone, a feature that currently does not exist on the instant messaging platform.
