WING, the UAE’s most innovative mobile and web-based user-friendly delivery platform for businesses and individual consumers is looking to double its growth in the UAE market with plans to acquire more customers to join its unique platform this year.
The announcement comes as part of the company’s expansion and growth plans to expand its customer base by over 30% and boost business to double the order book by mid-2017. The company is also looking to enhance its GCC Cross Border Shipping services and is in discussions with several courier companies across the region to help increase its customer base in GCC.
Muzaffar Karabaev, founder and CEO of WING stated: “We are proud of the success rate the company has achieved in just six months of operations. We are constantly working to increase our order book and efficiency algorithms to pass the orders to other couriers and delivery service providers. We are confident that the company’s success will endure by continuing to enhance and develop our product to offer an efficient, easy to use, on-demand mobile shipping marketplace for both shippers and consumers.”
Since the inception of its operations six months ago, WING managed to ship close to 120,000 packages across the UAE with White Friday alone amounting to almost 30,000 shipments during that period.
“WING is a first of its kind platform with a unique objective of facilitating the delivery process to all users, and our objective for 2017 is to grow this business across all fronts to ensure that we add more partners that will enable us to reach even more end users around the UAE and GCC,” he also added.
“As part of our courier marketplace and shipping software as a service concept we are currently working with over 22 courier/delivery service companies in the UAE market with a target of reaching 60 by the end of this year. Our unique technology connects courier and merchants together using a user-friendly API that enables them to ensure that shipments are delivered in a timely manner, and this is the key to our success,” added Karabaev.
Effectively, with the platform, Merchants, SMEs and Consumers all have a choice to ship with multiple providers, and the option to switch instantly if they are not happy with the service.
The company also developed its own merchant API and plugins/extensions for e-commerce platforms. End users can access the service using downloadable apps available on both Android and iOS devices enabling them to monitor and track delivery of their shipment in real-time.
WING also launched an easy international shipping service for consumers last December resulting in cost savings of around 30% for small businesses and consumers on international shipping.
