Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi will return with a full capacity crowd for F1 Grand Prix 2021

Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix stated that Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will return to 100 per cent capacity.

After months of wait, Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi will see full crowd for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021. The announcement was made by the organisers of Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix stating that Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix returning to 100 per cent capacity.

Aligned with the latest regulations set by the government, it will allow a full-capacity crowd to get in on the action, at Yas Marina Circuit which will take place from December 9 to 12, 2021.

“With the boost in total fan attendance at the circuit, children under the age of 12 will now also be permitted to attend events during the race week,” the Yas Marina Circuit announced in a press release, adding, “A selection of precautionary measures will remain in place, including temperature checking, venue sanitisation and social distancing, while there will be a first aid and Covid-19 testing point on site, including a dedicated quarantine room for suspected cases.”

Attendees must wear masks at all times, and they will be required to present a Green Pass through the Al Hosn app and a negative PCR test within 48-hours to enter the venue.

For this year’s F1 race, the event will showcase some of motorsport’s biggest stars, such as: Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Valterri Bottas, and Lando Norris, taking on the newly reconfigured track for the first time.

The long-anticipated traditional Yasalam After-Race Concerts are also back featuring Grammy-nominated artists Khalid and Lewis Capaldi. In addition, a line-up of four AAA artists are expected to perform at Etihad Park on Thursday and Saturday.
