A team of two young professionals from Initiative MENA has won the Gold Award in the Young Lynx Media Competition on March 12, on the second two of the ongoing Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity 2018.
The winning team included Myriam Farah, Social Outreach & Influencer Partnership and Mehak Khan, Senior Media Manager, both from Initiative MENA. It was the only team to be selected as a winner in this year’s media competition.
The brief was prepared by Al Noor Training Centre, an organization devoted for helping individuals with special needs achieve their highest potential – and was presented to the competitors as part of the Festival, taking place at Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah.
Each of the four competing teams had 24 hours to answer the brief, come up with unique, thought provoking creative ideas and create a meaningful media campaign that would raise awareness about the importance of AT (Assisted Technology) for kids with special needs and generate funding to make AT available for every child at the center.
The Jury included Isphana Al-Khatib, Director, Al Noor Training Centre; Elda Choucair, CEO, PHD MENA and Keira Doherty, Head of Digital, Weber Shandwick.
The winning campaign is now being considered for implementation by Initiative MENA.
