As the official first day of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2017, kicks off, a slew of shortlists across six categories, including the Glass Lions, have been announced.
From the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region, two agencies have managed an entry each in the shortlist.
Leo Burnett Beirut’s ‘Undress522’ for Abaad Resource Centre for Gender Equality and Y&R Dubai’s ‘Warri’ campaign for Association Tunisienne Des Femmes Democrats are competing in this category.
As is known, Glass Lions celebrate Lions for Good or the work done that seeks to drive social change, or highlights issues concerning the society at large.
