Can you believe someone can complete seven marathons across seven continents in seven days? Well, James Elliot-Square and Paris Norriss are aiming to make it into a reality. Yes, this is no drill.

The endurance challenge will be taken up by these two Dubai residents in 2025 and they’re currently preparing for it leaving no stone unturned. In January, they will complete the back-to-back 42.2km runs of the World Marathon Challenge. In an Instagram post, James and Paris expressed how they’re prepping to take on the brutal challenge.

“After a brutal summer training in the Dubai heat (for part of it at least), it’s bliss to be back to beautiful weather. Months of training and preparation are starting to become apparent. Paris will be running in the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon this weekend to update his pace to see where he’s at and James is training as hard as ever,” reads the update.

But they’re not doing it merely for fitness The duo hopes to raise funds for the Sparkle Foundation and the Sovereign Art Foundation, which helps underprivileged children.

The post continues, “Just a month and a half to go to our challenge to complete 7 marathons in 7 days across 7 continents to support the children at the Sovereign Art Foundation. Thanks to our sponsors who have supported us to date.”

The two hope to raise $200,000 to help children who have fallen victim to trafficking, violence, and more.
