Skaraborgs Allehanda (until 1981 Skaraborgs Läns Annonsblad , 1981-1997 Skaraborgs Läns Allehanda ; the abbreviation SLA is still used) is a newspaper published in Skövde since 1884. The political tendency was declared liberalor liberal until 1913, then moderate or bourgeois until 1951, peasant union or center party until 1961, then again bourgeois until 1984 and then moderate. The magazine was published two days a week up to 1941 and was then three-day magazine until 1964, four-day newspaper 1965-1968 and has since been six-day newspaper. The edition was around 20,000 copies until around 1910, when it began to fall and reached less than 10,000 copies at the end of the 1950s. Then, the edition rose again continuously until the beginning of the 1980s, and since then it has commuted between 23,000 and 27,000 copies.
