https://emiratitimes.com/ :Abu Dhabi: A Qarmoosha Pure Ultra White falcon has sold for AED 1.5 million ($ 408,000) at the fifth falcon auction held as part of the 23rd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026.

The sale marked the highest price achieved at any auction during this year’s exhibition. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the auction attracted strong interest from falconers and bidders.

The auction is part of the largest auction program in ADIHEX history, held under the theme ‘A Legacy of Pride.’ The exhibition is organized by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and will continue until September 6.

The falcon was owned by Mark Moglich Falcon Farm in the United States and attracted considerable attention for its rare pure white coloring and physical characteristics. It weighs 1,000 grams and measures 16.5 inches in both length and width.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, stated that the quality of falcons featured in the auctions reflected the international standing achieved by ADIHEX. Al Dhaheri highlighted the exhibition’s role in bringing together leading falcons and bloodlines from around the world and supporting the preservation of breed quality and sustainability.

The 2026 edition features 55 leading local and international falcon breeding and care farms, representing a 20 percent increase from last year. Nine of the participating farms are taking part in the exhibition for the first time, highlighting the growing international interest in the ADIHEX falcon auctions and the exhibition’s role in connecting breeders and falconers.
