Warner Bros. World describes the development as the Middle East’s first Harry Potter-themed land. Visitors will enter locations drawn from the Wizarding World inside the fully indoor Yas Island theme park.

Warner Bros. World also lists three ride and attraction slots on its official website. Dining and shopping will form part of the land. No opening date has been confirmed.

Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley emerge in plans
Government construction documentation identifies a Harry Potter Castle, Harry Potter Diagon Alley and a dedicated Harry Potter ride.

Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley would place two of the franchise’s best-known environments inside one Abu Dhabi theme park. Existing international Harry Potter attractions generally separate these locations between different parks or destinations.

Construction documentation also references an area described as Fores. No official confirmation links that designation to a specific Harry Potter location.

Warner Bros. World has not released architectural specifications for Hogwarts Castle or Diagon Alley. Ride layouts, attraction technology and guest capacity also remain undisclosed.

Abu Dhabi’s project remains under development, according to the park’s current Harry Potter page. Warner Bros. World says guests will enter iconic Wizarding World locations presented in a new format.

Names, ride systems and storylines have not been published. Government documentation separately identifies one Harry Potter ride within the construction scope.

Hogwarts Castle provides one potential location for an attraction, although Warner Bros. World has not confirmed any ride placement.

Diagon Alley will expand the land beyond ride capacity through themed streets, retail and guest circulation areas. Official park information confirms shopping and dining categories alongside the three attractions.

Warner Bros. World already operates more than 30 rides and family attractions across its existing lands. This new attraction will join Warner Bros. Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City and Metropolis.

Dining and retail join the development

Operators have not released restaurant names, menus or retail concepts. Merchandise specifications also remain undisclosed.

Retail capacity gives Warner Bros. World another commercial component within the new land. Harry Potter products have already appeared inside the existing park during 2026 as construction advances on the dedicated area.

Warner Bros. World currently operates 20 dining options and 22 shopping outlets across the park, according to its official visitor information. Harry Potter will add further capacity once the land opens.

Miral has not announced an opening date. Warner Bros. World continues to classify the project as under development and is accepting registrations for future updates.

Construction permits indicate the wider programme will expand the park by around 26 per cent. Documentation also identifies additional DC entertainment capacity within the development programme.

Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences confirmed two new DC attractions on June 11. Kryptonite Collider opened on July 26 as part of the continuing Warner Bros. World expansion.

Yas Island continues to add attraction capacity across its leisure portfolio, with Warner Bros. World using new intellectual property and ride investment to increase guest volumes and extend visitor dwell time.

Harry Potter will add a seventh themed environment to the indoor park once construction is complete. Warner Bros. World has not disclosed the land’s final size, attraction capacity or opening schedule.
