https://emiratitimes.com/ :Ajman: The Ajman Transport Authority has launched the Future of Transport Hackathon as part of the activities of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Camp 2026, in collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence Office.
The initiative aims to encourage innovation and develop smart solutions to challenges facing the transport sector. The hackathon is open to students, innovators, developers and people interested in technology and artificial intelligence, providing participants with an opportunity to develop practical ideas that can improve transport services and enhance the overall customer experience.
Participants will explore several key themes, including the use of artificial intelligence in transport services, data analysis, decision-making support and future digital services. The hackathon also focuses on developing applicable solutions that can improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality and contribute to a better quality of life for the community.

The initiative provides a platform for participants to apply emerging technologies to real-world transport challenges. By encouraging innovative thinking and practical development, the hackathon aims to identify solutions that can contribute to the evolution of smarter, more efficient and customer-focused transport services.
Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Director of the Digital Solutions Department, stated that the launch reflects Ajman Transport Authority’s commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, expanding the use of artificial intelligence and empowering national talents and young professionals to contribute to developing practical and sustainable solutions for the transport sector.
Al Nuaimi added that the hackathon also strengthens cooperation between the Artificial Intelligence Office, universities and strategic partners, creating opportunities to bring together expertise from different fields. Through the use of modern technologies and collaborative innovation, the initiative aims to support future-ready transport solutions, improve the efficiency of the transport system and strengthen Ajman Transport Authority’s position in developing smart and sustainable mobility services.
